Ciprofloxacin ophthalmic eye drops
- Ulcer on the cornea: put 2 drops on the affected eye every 15 minutes for the first 6 hours and then apply 2 drops every 30 minutes during the first day. On the second day, put 2 drops every hour and from the third to the 14th day apply 2 drops every 4 hours.
- Conjunctivitis: Place 1 or 2 drops in the inner corner of the eye every 2 hours while awake for 2 days. Then apply 1 or 2 drops to the inner corner of the eye every 4 hours while awake for the next 5 days.
Ciprofloxacin ophthalmic ointment
- Corneal ulcer: Apply about 1 cm of the ointment in the inner corner of the eye every 2 hours in the first 2 days. Then apply the same amount every 4 hours, up to 12 days.
- Conjunctivitis: Place approximately 1 cm of the ointment in the inner corner of the eye 3 times a day for the first two days and then apply the same amount twice a day for the next five days.
