Indications
Ceclor is indicated for the treatment of tonsillitis, pharyngitis, skin and soft tissue infection, orofacial infection by anaerobic and Gram positive cocci, urinary tract infection, otitis media and pneumonia.
Mode of Use
The use of this medication is oral, and in the case of adults it is recommended 250 to 500 mg every 8 hours and for children with bronchitis, pneumonia, skin infection between 6.7 and 13.4 mg per kg of body weight body every 8 hours. In the case of otitis media, pharyngitis, tonsillitis about 6.7 to 13.4 mg per kg of body weight every 8 hours or 10 to 20 mg per kg of body weight every 12 hours.
Side effects
The main side effects include diarrhea, nausea and rash on the skin.
Contraindications
Ceclor is contraindicated in pregnancy, previous allergic reaction to cephalosporins, penicillins or penicillamine.
