How to use Revitan
The mode of use of Revitan should be indicated by your pediatrician, according to the table of "Recommended Daily Intake - IDR" of vitamins. The use of Revitan can be:
- Children 6 months to 1 year: 1 ml / day;
- Children 1 to 3 years: 1.5 ml / day;
- Children 4 to 6 years: 2 ml / day;
- Children 7 to 10 years: 2.5 ml / day;
- Adolescents 11 to 14 years old - 3 ml / day.
Revitan can be given along with juices and milk, in a single intake per day or divided into two intakes per day, preferably at mealtime.
Revitan Side Effects
Revitan's side effects are rare but may occur with itching, redness of the skin, irritation of the mucous membranes of the mouth, diarrhea, nausea, vomiting, headache, discomfort, confusion or excitement, skin peeling, loss of appetite.
Contraindications of Revitan
Revitan is contraindicated in patients with hypersensitivity to any component of the formula, hypervitaminosis A or D and excess calcium in the blood. Revitan should be taken with caution in patients with diabetes, kidney disease or anemia.
