Flixonase is a nasal medicine with active substance Fluticasone.
This is an anti-inflammatory drug, which helps in the treatment of allergic reactions such as rhinitis and sinusitis, soothing the inflammations and irritations of the nasal mucous membranes.
Generally Flixonase is found in pharmacies in the form of a spray, and should be used with discipline according to the medical indication, since the use of the medication does not produce an immediate relief of the allergic symptoms.
Indications of Flixonase
Allergic rhinitis; chronic rhinitis; asthma; sinusitis.
Side effects of Flixonase
Formation of "crusts" in the nasal cavities; Headache; sneezing; nausea; vomiting; burning sensation in the nose; dryness or irritation of the nose (mild and transient); nasal bleeding; cough; sensation of bitter taste in the mouth.
Contraindications of Flixonase
Pregnancy risk C; women in the lactation phase.
How to use Flixonase
Nasal use
Adults and children over 12 years of age
- Allergic rhinitis or chronic rhinitis (prevention and treatment): 2 doses of Flixonase in each nostril, once a day, preferably in the morning.
Daily dose limit: 4 doses in each nostril daily.
