Aceclofenac is the active ingredient of the drug sold commercially under the name of Proflam, which is a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory, analgesic for oral and topical use, which acts on inflamed tissues.

This medicine can also be found in pharmacies under the name of Cecoflan.

Indications of Aceclofenac

Post-surgical pain; humeral scapular periarthritis; extra articular rheumatism; rheumatoid arthritis; osteoarthritis; ankylosing spondylitis.

Irritability, skin tightening and itching.

Contraindications to Aceclofenac

Pregnancy in the second half; allergy to aspirin; nasal polyps associated with aspirin-induced bronchospasm.

Directions for use of Aceclofenac

Oral use

Adults: 100 mg every 12 hours

Topical Use

Adults: Apply a thin layer on the affected area, 3 times a day.
