Primrose oil supplement, also known as evening primrose oil, is a formula that brings benefits to the skin, the heart and to cases of inflammatory diseases due to its high content of gamma linoleic acid.

How to use
Take 1 g of evening primrose oil per day for 60 days in a row. From the 61st day, reduce the dose to only 500mg per day during the 10 days before menstruation and then take 1g again, and so on or according to medical advice.
Side effects
The side effects of evening primrose oil include headache and occasionally abdominal pain, vomiting or diarrhea.
Contraindications
Evening primrose oil is contraindicated in individuals allergic to plants of the onagrácea family, such as primrose, or gamma-linolenic acid.
Caution should be exercised in the use of Evening Primrose Oil when taken together with medicines for the treatment of mental illnesses, such as chlorpromazine (Thorazine ®), thioridazine (Mellaril ®), trifluoperazine (Stelazine ®), fluphenazine (Prolixin ®), because they increase the risk of seizures.
