Xatral is a medicine that uses alfuzosin as an active substance. It works by reducing the pressure of the urethra and thus decreasing resistance to urinary flow.
The medicine should not be broken or chewed.

Benign prostatic hyperplasia.
Side effects
Headache; dizziness; tiredness; infection in the upper airways.
Contraindications
Not suitable for women; severe impairment of liver function; history of orthostatic hypotension associated with other alpha-blockers.
How to use
Adults: 5 mg in the morning and 5 mg in the evening. (Long-acting tablets)
Elderly or hypertensive: 2.5 mg in the morning and 2.5 mg in the evening, adjusting the dose according to the patient's actual dose, reaching a maximum of 5 mg 2x / day. In the elderly do not exceed 10 mg / day. (single tablets)
