In feeding the baby with 7 months is indicated:
- Give boiled or shredded beef, crushed cereal and vegetables instead of beaten soups in the blender;
- The dessert should be fruit or fruit compote;
- Provide solid foods for the baby to practice chewing and let him take with his hand, such as peeled banana, apple or pear pieces, meat or carrot slices, asparagus, beans, fish without spine and curd
- Begin to train cup and mug use;
- After the meal, offer bread or biscuit for the baby to bite;
- The intake of 700 ml of milk per day;
- Cook the meat well to avoid the parasites that can remain in the baby's intestine;
- Do not feed the baby in the breaks because he has eaten little so he can eat well at the next meal;
- Keep cooked fruits and vegetables in the refrigerator for up to 48 hours and meat not more than 24 hours;
- Season meals with salt, onion and tomato, and fine herbs;
- Avoid the use of oil in the preparation of meals.
At this stage of life, the baby should receive 4 or 5 meals a day, depending on the volume the child eats, since larger meals imply a longer interval between them.
Lunch preparation:
- 1 or 2 tablespoons of beef or chicken, ground or cooked
- 2 or 3 tablespoons puree of a vegetable of the choice between carrot, chuchu, pumpkin, gherkin, turnip, caruru or spinach
- 2 tablespoons puree or pea puree
- 2 or 3 tablespoons of rice, pasta, oats, tapioca or sago
- 2 or 3 tablespoons mashed sweet potato or English
The classic dinner soup can be replaced with beef broth (150 to 220g) or 1 cooked yolk, 1 tablespoon of some cereal and 1 or 2 tablespoons of vegetable puree.

Example of the diet with 4 meals of the baby at 7 months:
- 6:00 am - breast or bottle
- 10:00 am - cooked fruit
- 13:00 (afternoon) - lunch and dessert
- 4:00 p.m. - porridge
- 19:00 (night) - dinner and dessert
Example of feeding day with 5 meals of baby with 7 months:
- 6:00 am - breast or bottle
- 10:00 am - cooked fruit
- 1:00 pm - breakfast
- 4:00 p.m. - porridge or cooked fruit
- 19:00 (evening) - soup and dessert
- 23:00 (night) - breast or bottle
Baby Routine at 7 Months
There should be a schedule for the baby to start integrating into the routine of the house. However, in spite of this, meal times should be flexible, respecting the baby's sleep and possible changes in the routine, such as in travel, for example.
