Furacin can be used in 30 g ointment or solution in vials with 30 ml and is used to treat boils, after removal of pimples or ingrown hairs or as a supplemental treatment for burns. Its use must be initiated by doctor's appointment and must be purchased at the pharmacy.

Indications
Furacin is indicated for the treatment of skin infections such as impetigo, furuncle and pyoderma, mainly after trauma or removal of ingrown hairs, after depilation, removal of barbs, handling of blackheads and pimples, ingrown nails or after insect bites.
In addition, it can also be used in the treatment of 2nd and 3rd degree burns, when there is infection or risk of infection or after skin transplants, where bacterial contamination may cause transplant rejection.
Mode of Use
Furacin is used in cream or liquid solution and should be applied to the skin, and for adults and adolescents should be applied a small amount of the product directly on the skin with a sterile gauze, 1 to 3 times a day, according to the number of exchanges of the dressings, for about 10 days.
Side effects
Furacin can cause itching, swelling and small spots on the skin.
Contraindications
The use of Furacin is contraindicated in the case of pregnancy and when there is sensitivity to some of the constituents of the medication, such as nitrofuran.
