Mode of use of Acebrofilina

The mode of use of Acebrofilina consists of:

• Adults: 10 mL of the syrup twice daily.
• Children:
  • 1 to 3 years: 2 mg / kg / day of the pediatric syrup divided into 2 doses.
  • 3 to 6 years: 5.0 mL of the pediatric syrup twice daily.
  • 6 to 12 years: 10 mL of the pediatric syrup twice daily.

The dose of the medicine may vary according to your doctor's or pediatrician's indication.

The main side effects of Acebrofilina include nausea, vomiting and dizziness.

Contraindications of Acebrophilin

Acebrofilin is contraindicated in children younger than 1 year of age in patients with hypersensitivity to any component of the formula and in patients with hypertension.

However, its use should only be made under medical prescription in case of pregnancy, breastfeeding or in patients who present with cardiopathies, hypertension, severe hypoxemia and peptic ulcer.
