Indications for Kefazol
Joint infection; skin and soft tissue infection; infection in the bones; urinary infection; pneumonia; bacterial endocarditis.

Pregnancy risk B; women in the lactation phase; individuals with penicillin hypersensitivity.
How to use Kefazol
Injectable Use
Adults
- Infection (mild): Give 250 to 500 mg Kefazole every 8 hours.
- Infection (moderate to severe life-threatening): Administer 1 g to 1.5 g of Kefazole every 6 hours.
- Pneumonia : Administer 500 mg Kefazole every 12 hours.
- Urinary Infection (acute and uncomplicated): Administer 1 g Kefazole every 12 hours.
- Prevention of endocarditis : Give 1 g of Kefazole half an hour before surgery.
