The best way to improve an oily skin is to bet on the masks with natural ingredients, which can be prepared at home, and wash the face afterwards.
These masks should contain ingredients such as clay, which absorb excess oil, essential oils that purify the skin and other ingredients rich in vitamins and minerals.
1. Yoghurt Mask with Carrot
A great homemade moisturizer for oily skin can be made with yogurt and carrots because the vitamin A present in carrots will prevent the formation of wrinkles and frequent pimples on oily skin and yogurt protect and regenerate the skin.
Ingredients
- 3 tablespoons plain yogurt;
- Half grated carrot.
Method of preparation
Put yoghurt and grated carrot in a glass and mix well. Then pass the mask on the face, avoiding the eyes and mouth area, letting act for 20 minutes and then wash with cold water. To dry give little pat on the face with a very soft towel.
2. Strawberry mask
The strawberry mask is an excellent home remedy for those who have oily skin, as it helps to close the pores and decrease the oiliness of the skin.
Ingredients
- 5 strawberries;
- 2 tablespoons of honey;
- ½ papaya papaya.
Method of preparation
Remove all the leaves from the strawberries and the papaya seeds. Afterwards, you should knead well and add the honey. The mixture should be homogeneous and with the consistency of a paste. Apply the mask on the face with the help of a cotton wool and leave to act for 15 minutes and after the determined time rinse the face with cold water and dry well.
3. Clay Mask, Cucumber and Essential Oils

- 2 teaspoons of natural lean yogurt;
- 1 tablespoon chopped cucumber pulp;
- 2 teaspoons of cosmetic clay;
- 2 drops lavender essential oil;
- 1 drop of juniper essential oil.
Method of preparation
Add all the ingredients and mix well until you get a paste, and then wipe the skin and apply the mask, leaving it to act for 15 minutes. Then remove the paste with a warm, damp towel.
4. Egg white and Maizena mask

- 1 egg white;
- 2 tablespoons cornstarch;
- 2.5 ml of saline solution.
Method of preparation
Separate the egg white from the egg yolk, beat the white egg well and add the corn syrup and the saline solution until a homogeneous mixture is obtained. Then you should wash and dry the skin well and apply the mask on the face, letting it act for about 10 minutes. Finally, rinse with cold water.
