Strawberry and Melon Salad Recipe
This is a fresh salad recipe to accompany lunch or dinner. When using strawberries for salads, juices or vitamins, it is important to wash the strawberries before removing the foot, because if it is then water enters the strawberry and it will spoil more easily.
Ingredients
- Half-iceberg lettuce
- 1 small melon
- 225 g of sliced strawberries
- 1 piece of cucumber with 5 cm, finely sliced
- Fresh mint clamps, to garnish
Ingredients for the sauce
- 200 ml natural yoghurt
- 1 piece of peeled cucumber with 5 cm
- Some fresh mint leaves
- Half a teaspoon of grated lemon peel
- 3-4 ice cubes
Method of preparation
Put the lettuce in a bowl, add the strawberries and the cucumber without the peel. Next, mash all the ingredients of the sauce in the blender. Serve the salad with a little sauce on top.
