How to use Ebastel
The mode of use of Ebastel tablets for adults and children up to 12 years old may be:
- Allergic rhinitis: 10 mg or 20 mg once daily, depending on the severity of the symptoms;
- Urticaria: 10 mg once daily.
Ebastel in syrup is indicated for children above 2 years and can be taken as follows:
- Children aged 2 to 5 years: 2.5 ml of syrup once a day;
- Children aged 6 to 11 years: 5 ml of syrup once daily;
- Children over 12 years and adults: 10 ml of syrup once a day.
The duration of treatment with Ebastel should be indicated by the allergist physician according to the symptoms presented by the patient.
Side effects of Ebastel
Side effects of Ebastel include headache, dizziness, dry mouth, drowsiness, pharyngitis, stomach pain, difficulty in digestion, weakness, nasal bleeding, rhinitis, sinusitis, nausea and insomnia.
Contraindications of Ebastel
Ebastel is contraindicated in patients with hypersensitivity to the components of the formula, in pregnancy, in breast-feeding, and in patients with severe hepatic impairment. The tablets are contraindicated in children under the age of 12 and syrup in children under the age of 2 years.
