Artemeter is a medicine known commercially as Paluther.
This medicine is for injectable use, used in the treatment against malaria. 20 to 40 hours after the administration of Artemeter, it is possible to observe a decrease in fever, a characteristic symptom of malaria, but the absence of parasites that cause the disease can only be observed after 2 or 4 days.

Side Effects of Artemeter
Increase in body temperature for 1 to 3 days after the end of treatment and after the decrease in the feverish symptom of malaria; stomach ache; inflammation at the injection site; lack of appetite; nausea; vomiting.
Contraindications for Artemeter
Pregnant or lactating women.
How to use Artemeter
Injectable Use
Adults
- The total dose of treatment is 480 mg of Artemeter, which can be administered between 3 and 5 days.
Kids
- The total dose of treatment is 9.6 mg of Artemeter per kg of weight, which can be administered between 3 and 5 days.
