Omnaris is an anti-inflammatory nasal spray that acts by inhibiting the cells involved in the allergic process. This medicine is not generic.
Indications
Allergic rhinitis (seasonal or perennial).
Side effects
Headache; nasal bleeding; nasal discomfort; irritation of the nose and throat; sore throat.
Contraindications
Pregnancy risk C; breast-feeding; hypersensitivity to ciclesonide; recent ulcer in the nasal septum; surgery or recent nasal trauma.
Mode of Use
Nasal Use
Adults and Children 12 years and over
- 100 mcg (2 sprays) into each nostril once a day.
Children 6 to 11 years old
- 100 mcg (2 sprays) into each nostril once a day.
