Monkey-cane is a medicinal plant, also known as canarana, cana-roxa or cane do marsh, used to treat menstrual problems or in the kidneys.
Its scientific name is Costus spicatus and can be bought in some natural products stores or manipulation pharmacies.

- Cane Tea : Put 20 g of leaves and stems in 1 liter of boiling water for 10 minutes and then strain. Drink tea 4 to 5 times a day.
