Ulm, also known as willow, meadow queen or beeswax, is a medicinal plant used for colds, fever, rheumatic diseases, kidney and bladder diseases, cramps, gout and relief of migraines.
The ulmaria is a plant of the rosaceae family with height between 50 and 200 cm, with yellow or whitish flowers and its scientific name is Filipendula ulmaria .

Ulm properties
The ulmar has antimicrobial, anti-inflammatory, analgesic, diuretic, sweat-like properties, which makes sweating and febrifuge, which decreases fever.
How to use the Ulm
The used parts of the ulmaria are the flowers and occasionally the whole plant.
- For tea : Add 1 tablespoon of limes to a cup of boiling water. Allow to rinse, strain and drink afterwards.
Side effects
Side effects of ulm include gastrointestinal problems in case of overdose.
Ultrasound contraindications
Ulma is contraindicated in people with hypersensitivity to salicylates, which is one of the constituents of the plant and in pregnancy, as it may induce labor.
