Selegiline is a medicinal product for oral use, known commercially as Jumexil.
This medication is used in the treatment of Parkinson's disease, having great effects on the central nervous system and reducing the "tremors" characteristic of the disease.

Headache; fainting; hallucination; dizziness; feeling of falling; difficulty in carrying out voluntary movements; dry mouth; bellyache.
Contraindications of Selegilina
Pregnancy risk C; women in the lactation phase; profound dementia; individuals over 60 years of age; patients with abnormal involuntary movements; severe psychosis; peptic ulcer.
How to use Selegiline
Oral use
Adults
- Initial dose : Start treatment with 2.5 mg Selegiline at breakfast for 2 days. Subsequently, the dose should be increased by also ingesting 2.5 mg at dinner for another 2 days.
- Maintenance (Individuals with difficulty of movement): To administer 5 mg of Selegilina every 12 hours.
