Catuaba, also known as Field Rosemary, Catuaba-true, Catuabinha, Catuíba, Catuaba-pau, Caramuru or Tatuaba, is a medicinal plant widely used to make aphrodisiac remedies for male impotence problems.
The scientific name of Catuaba is Anemopaegma mirandum and can be bought in natural products stores, drugstores and some markets and supermarkets, in the form of powder, capsules, alcoholic beverage or in its natural form.

How to use catuaba

- Catuaba tea for tiredness: Put to boil ½ liter of water and add 2 tablespoons of catuaba peel. After 3 minutes, turn off the heat and leave on infusion before straining. Once cooked the tea is ready to be drunk.
- Catuaba capsules: They should be used with guidance of the general practitioner, and up to 2 grams of Catuaba per day may be ingested.
- Catuaba wild - alcoholic drink: Take during meals, for example, to have an aphrodisiac effect.

Possible side effects
The main side effect of catuaba is the onset of headache when ingested in excess.
Who should not use
