The remedies with this substance serve to treat mycoses in the skin, caused by the excessive growth of fungi, especially tinea pedis, tinea corporis, tinea cruris, tinea vesicolor, cutaneous candidiasis and seborrheic dermatitis.
How to use
The indicated dose and how to use it varies according to the presentation of the medicine:
- Cream : apply in the affected region, massaging up to the skin around, twice a day up to 4 weeks;
- Shampoo : Wash your hair wet with the shampoo, massaging the scalp until you get foam. Then leave it on for 5 minutes and rinse thoroughly. Use twice a week;
- Enamel : Apply on the affected nail on alternate days for 1 to 3 months.
Regardless of the form of the medicine, the dose should always be indicated by a doctor.
Possible side effects
Olamine cyclopirox generally does not cause side effects, however, irritation, burning sensation, itching, or redness may occur on site.
