A good home remedy for digestive problems is to take the tea from the thistle that is still warm because this medicinal plant has a substance called silymarin that helps in the digestion of food.
Ingredients
- 1 teaspoon of thistle seeds
- 1 cup boiling water
Method of preparation
Add the seeds in the boiling water, cover and let stand for 15 minutes. This recipe should be repeated 3 times a day 30 minutes before meals or whenever symptoms of poor digestion are present, such as gas, burping, and stomachy feeling.
One of the common causes of poor digestion is the improper combination of foods, such as eating foods high in fiber and protein at the same time, such as a bread sandwich with meat and cheese fibers. Therefore, to avoid indigestion you should avoid these combinations and also avoid eating sweets right after meals because sugar also impairs digestion.
