Ingredients
- 1 cup honey;
- 4 medium carrots.
Method of preparation
Pass the carrot through the centrifuge, add this juice to the honey and then carry the low heat until thickened and then store in a properly capped glass container. Take 1 spoonful of this syrup 3 to 4 times a day.
2. Syrup of oregano and honey
Another good homemade syrup for dry cough is honey with oregano because it has antitussive properties that help to calm the cough.
Ingredients
- 1 tablespoon honey;
- 1 teaspoon of oregano.
Method of preparation
Mix the ingredients in a glass container and heat for a few moments in the microwave. When it is warm, take the syrup to follow. You should take this syrup 2 to 3 times a day.
As these syrups are honey-based, they should not be given to children under 3 years of age due to the risk of botulism, which is a serious infection. In addition, they should also not be used by diabetics.
