Hidantal is an anticonvulsant drug that has as active substance Phenytoin.
This oral medication is indicated for the treatment of epilepsy and isolated seizures. Its action on the central nervous system prevents the spread of any epileptic activity.

How to use Hidantal
Oral use
Adults
- Anticonvulsant : Start treatment with Hidantal 125 mg 3 times daily. The doses should be adjusted according to the situation of the patient.
Children
- Anticonvulsant : Initiate treatment with 5 mg of Hidantal per kg body weight, divided into 2 or 3 doses per day. Administer the dose according to medical advice.
