The fast metabolism diet works by speeding up metabolism and increasing the expenditure of calories in the body, which aids in weight loss. This diet promises to eliminate up to 10 kg in 1 month, and is composed of a food plan that should be followed for 4 weeks.

Phases of the metabolism diet
Each week's metabolism diet is divided into 3 stages, aiming to control stress hormones, blood pressure, boost immunity and accelerate fat burning.

- Breakfast: Oatmeal and red fruits or 1 tapioca with chickpea paste. Vitamin Ingredients: 1/2 cup gluten-free oats, 1/2 cup of a mix of blueberry, strawberry and blackberry, 1 small apple, 1 cube of ginger, mint and ice.
- Snack: 1 fruit: orange, guava, papaya, pear, mango, apple, tangerine or 1 slice of pineapple or melon.
- Lunch: Salad with vegetables and vegetables at will seasoned with lemon, ginger and pepper + 150 g sautéed chicken fillet with broccoli + 1/2 cup cooked quinoa.
- Snack: 1/2 cup watermelon cubes + 1 teaspoon Sicilian lemon juice OR 1 slice of pineapple.
- Dinner: Salad with leaves and vegetables + 100 g grilled fillet + 4 tablespoons brown rice with grated zucchini or 1 whole tortilla with salad + 1 apple.

- Breakfast: 3 scrambled or boiled egg whites, seasoned with salt, oregano and parsley.
- Snack: 2 slices of turkey breast with cucumber or 2 tbsp canned tuna water + canned stalks of fennel at will.
- Lunch: Arugula salad, purple lettuce and mushroom + 1 bell pepper stuffed with ground beef OR 100 g fillet of tuna stuffed with cayenne pepper.
- Snack: 3 slices of roast beef + cucumbers cut into sticks at will.
- Dinner: 1 plate of shredded chicken soup with broccoli, cabbage, chard.
At this stage, besides fats, it is also prohibited to consume carbohydrates and grains such as beans, chickpeas and soy.
Forbidden Foods in Phase 2 Food allowed in phase 2Phase 3 menu
The last phase of the fast metabolism diet lasts 3 days and aims to increase fat burning, so no food group is banned.
- Breakfast: 1 gluten-free toast with 1 egg scrambled with oregano and little salt + 1 cup almond milk beaten with 3 tablespoons avocado.
- Snack: 1 apple mash with cinnamon or cocoa powder OR celery stalks with almond butter.
- Lunch: Vegetable and vegetable salad + 150 g fillet of salmon or roasted chicken + 1 peach.
- Snack: 1 cup of coconut water + a quarter cup of raw, unsalted nuts, nuts or almonds.
- Dinner: Lettuce, mushroom and tomato salad + ½ cup cooked quinoa + 4 tablespoons ground beef braised with olive.
