This gluten-free pizza recipe is an excellent choice for anyone who wants to eliminate or reduce gluten intake from the diet.
This pizza is easy and quick to make and is a nutritious and healthy meal alternative for the celiac patient. However, the basic difference of this pizza is that the mass crumbles more easily.
Ingredients
- 1 egg
- Half a cup of oil
- 1 cup of rice flour
- 1 cup cornstarch
- 1 cup cassava flour
- 1 cup and a half milk
- 1 tablespoon baking powder
- 1 teaspoon of salt
Method of preparation
Beat all the ingredients in the blender for a few moments until the dough is homogeneous. Grease a large pizza shape with oil. Place the dough in the preheated oven at 180ºC for approximately 15 minutes. Then, remove from the oven, put the cover and return the form to the oven for another 5 to 10 min.
Coverage suggestions: Coating can be done by placing homemade tomato sauce, mozzarella cheese and tomato slices with oregano. Other foods that can also be added on top are olive, ham, bell pepper, boiled broccoli, mushrooms, arugula or boiled egg, for example. For sweeter pizzas one can add fruits such as pineapple, mango or banana and even put some cinnamon.
