Tecentriq is a chemotherapy drug indicated for the treatment of urothelial carcinoma, which is a type of bladder cancer, especially in advanced or metastatic cases, without improvement with other types of treatment.
The active principle of this medicine is Atezolizumab, a new monoclonal antibody-type drug that acts directly on the immune system to stimulate the body in fighting cancer. This medicine is not yet produced in Brazil, although ANVISA allows its importation from the United States in specific cases and with a justified medical indication.

How to use
Atezolizumab is a medicinal product that should be used through intravenous infusions according to the medical indication, usually 1200mg diluted in saline for 60 minutes in doses every 3 weeks.

Possible side effects
The most common side effects of Atezolizumab include tiredness, reduced appetite, urinary tract infection, fever, nausea and constipation.
