Kompensan is a medicine indicated for the relief of heartburn, and feeling of lameness caused by excess acidity in the stomach.
This medicine has in its composition Aluminum sodium dihydroxide carbonate that acts in the stomach neutralizing its acidity, thus relieving the symptoms related to the excess of acid in the stomach.

How to take
Generally, it is recommended to take 1 or 2 tablets to suck after meals, up to a maximum of 8 tablets per day. If necessary, 1 dose may be taken before bedtime to avoid poor mood at night.
The tablets should be sucked, not parted or chewed until completely dissolved in the mouth.
Side effects
Some of the side effects of Kompensan may include throat irritation, constipation, diarrhea, inflammation or infection in the tongue, nausea, mouth discomfort, swollen tongue or a burning sensation in the mouth.
Contraindications
Kompensan is contraindicated for children under 12 years of age, patients with kidney problems, a salt restricted diet, low blood phosphate levels, constipation or bowel narrowing, and for patients allergic to di sodium aluminum hydroxide or any of the components of the formula.
