Relaxing foot massage helps you relax and unwind after a tiring and stressful day at work or school, giving you physical and mental well-being because your feet have specific points that, through reflexology, relieve the tension of the whole body.
This foot massage can be done by the people themselves or by another because it is very simple and easy to do, just having only one oil or moisturizer at home, and follow these steps:
Step 1 - Wash and moisturize your feet
Wash and dry your feet thoroughly, including between the toes, and then put a small amount of oil or cream in one hand and warm it up, passing it between two hands. Then apply the oil on the foot to the ankle.
Step 2 - Massaging the entire foot
Pick up the foot with both hands and pull to one side with one hand and pushing to the other side with the other hand as shown in the picture. Begin from the tip of the foot to the heel and rise again to the tip of the foot, repeating 3 times.
Step 3 - Massaging each finger and the instep
Place the thumbs of both hands on the fingertips and massage from top to bottom. After finishing the toes, massage the entire foot, with movements from top to bottom, to the heel.
Step 4 - Massaging the Achilles tendon
Place one hand under the ankle and with the thumb and forefinger of the other hand, massage the Achilles tendon down the heel. Repeat the movement 5 times.
Step 5 - Massage the ankle
Massage the circles of the ankles with both hands open and fingers stretched, making a slight pressure, slowly traversing the side of the foot to the toes.
Step 6 - Massage the top of the foot
Massage the top of the foot, making back and forth movements for about 1 minute.
Step 7 - Massage your toes
Twist and slowly pull each toe, starting at the base of the finger.
Step 8 - Massaging the entire foot
Repeat step 3 which consists of picking up the foot with both hands and pulling it to one side with one hand and pushing it to the other side with the other hand.
After doing this massage on one foot you should repeat the same step by step on the other foot.
