Bath with oatmeal
A great home remedy for contact dermatitis is to take a bath with fine oatmeal, which can be bought at pharmacies because it helps relieve the itching and irritation caused by contact dermatitis.
Ingredients
- Water;
- 2 cups oatmeal.
Method of preparation
Put warm water in the tub for a shower and then place the oatmeal.

Ingredients
- 1 L of water;
- 30 g of stocking sheet.
Method of preparation
Put the leaves in boiling water and leave them for about 10 min. Then strain, moisten a clean towel and make the compress 2 to 3 times a day.
In addition to the dressing, a poultice can be made with the tissue, in which the tissue leaves should be placed in the irritated region, remaining for 10 minutes and then exchanging them. This should be done at least 3 times a day.
Compress with essential oils
A compress with essential oils is a good option to treat dermatitis because they can reduce the irritation of the skin.
Ingredients
- 3 drops chamomile essential oil;
- 3 drops lavender essential oil;
- 2.5 L of water.
Method of preparation
Put the drops of essential oil in boiling water and let it cool slightly. When the mixture is warm, moisten a clean cloth and make the compress in the irritated region at least 4 times a day.
