Indications of Cefoxitin
Uncomplicated gonorrhea; uncomplicated urethral gonorrhea; joint infection; skin and soft tissue infection; abdominal infection; bone infection; pelvic infection in women; cesarean surgery; urinary infection; pneumonia.

Diarrhea; inflammation of the vein; reaction at the injection site.

How to use Cefoxitin
Injectable Use
Adults
- Infection (uncomplicated): Administer 1 g of Cefoxitin, every 6 or 8 hours, intramuscularly or intravenously.
- Infection (moderate to severe): Administer 2 g of Cefoxitin, every 6 or 8 hours, intravenously.
- Cesaria Surgery : Administer 2 g immediately after umbilical cord rupture, administer intravenously.
