Clenbuterol is a bronchodilator that acts on the muscles of the lungs' bronchi, relaxing them and allowing them to become more dilated. In addition, clenbuterol is also an expectorant and, therefore, decreases the amount of secretions and mucus in the bronchi, facilitating the passage of air.
By having these effects, this remedy is widely used in the treatment of respiratory problems such as bronchial asthma and chronic bronchitis, for example.
Clenbuterol can be found in the form of tablets, syrups and sachets, and in some cases this substance may even be found in other asthma medications associated with other substances such as ambroxol.
What is it for
Clenbuterol is indicated for the treatment of respiratory problems that cause bronchospasm, such as:
- Acute or chronic bronchitis;
- Bronchial asthma;
- Emphysema;
- Laryngotracheitis;
In addition, it can still be used in several cases of cystic fibrosis.
How to take
The dose and timing of taking clenbuterol should always be indicated by a physician, but the general guidelines are:

Possible side effects
Some of the most common side effects of this medication include shaking, shaking of hands, palpitations, or skin allergy.
Who should not take
Clenbuterol is contraindicated for pregnant and lactating women, as well as patients with high blood pressure, heart failure or changes in heart rhythm. Similarly it should also not be used in people with allergy to any of the components of the formula.
