Homemade yogurt recipe
To make a homemade yogurt of excellent quality you need:
Ingredients
- 1 liter whole cow's milk
- 1 glass of natural Greek yogurt (170 g)
- 1 tablespoon of sugar
- 1 spoon of powdered milk (optional)
Method of preparation
Boil the milk and let it warm, around 36º C and mix it with the natural yoghurt, which should be at room temperature, sugar and milk powder. Place this mixture in a sealed container, wrap it in a clean cloth and store it inside the enclosed but unplugged microwave, and keep it there for 6 to 10 hours at most.
After you have finished, store it in the refrigerator. The yogurt should be ready when the consistency is the same as the natural yogurt that is bought in the market.

* Do not put the yogurt in the milk that is still too hot so the yogurt bacteria do not die, because they give the yoghurt its consistency. It is also not advisable to add fruit or jelly before the yogurt is ready to not hinder your training.
