An excellent home remedy for bee sting is to apply a packaged propolis compress to the site of the sting.
Ingredients
- 1 gauze clean,
- propolis,
- some plant leaves ( Plantago major)
Method of preparation
To prepare the compress, just dip a gauze with the propolis and add some sheets of vegetable, then apply under the location of the bite. Leave on for 20 minutes and then wash with cold water.
If the swelling persists, re-compress and apply an ice cube, sandwiched between the pad and the ice.
This home remedy also serves to treat the bee sting in the baby.
Symptoms such as swelling, pain and burning should persist for approximately 3 days, and gradually subside. But if after the bee sting arises difficulty breathing, it is recommended to take the victim to the hospital.
The bee stinger should be removed with a knife, needle or tweezer very carefully so the venom does not spread, wash the area with soap and water, and apply the following compress.
Special care must be taken with bee stings as they may generate an exaggerated allergic reaction called anaphylactic shock. This can occur in people who suffer from allergy or in case of multiple bee stings at the same time.
