How is the cerebrospinal fluid test done?
To perform the examination the doctor will remove a small sample of the cerebrospinal fluid through an injection into the spine. After examination the subject should lie on his or her back or for 12 hours. It is possible that after the examination the individual feels some headache. The result of the examination leaves within approximately 1 hour.
