Marroio

Marroio is a medicinal plant, also known as spearmint or thick leaf spearmint, widely used to treat respiratory problems, such as cough or phlegm.

The scientific name of the hedgehog is Marrubium vulgare and can be purchased at health food stores and some drugstores.

What is the hedgehog for?

The hock serves to help in the treatment of cough, phlegm, flu, dyspepsia, digestion problems, flatulence, loss of appetite, fever, swelling, hepatobiliary problems and spasms.

The properties of the heather include its antipyretic, expectorant, diuretic, cardiac and digestive action.

How to use the horseradish

All parts of the heath can be used.

• Infusion of horseradish: put 1 tablespoon (of dessert) of dried leaves and flowers in 1 cup of boiling water. Let stand for 10 minutes and strain. Take 3 times a day.

Contraindications of horseradish

The hock is contraindicated for pregnant women, women in the lactation phase or small children.
