Apple Cake Recipe
Ingredients:
- 3 eggs
- 70 g of sugar
- 100 g flour
- 70 g lean butter
- 3 apples, about 300 g
- 2 glasses of Port wine
- Cinnamon powder
Method of preparation:
Wash apples well, peel and distribute to thin slices. Place in a container covered with Port wine. Beat the sugar with the egg yolks and the softened butter, with the help of the mixer. When you have a fluffy cream, add the flour and wrap well. Whisk the egg whites in a blender mixing well with the rest of the dough. Grease a small pan with a little butter and sprinkle with flour. Put the dough in the tray and sprinkle with cinnamon powder. Arrange the apple over the dough, adding a goblet of Port wine. Bake for 30 minutes at 180ºC.
The alcohol that port wine has will evaporate when the cake goes into the oven, so it does not cause any problem for the baby.
