How to use Propil
Oral use
Adults
- Administer 100 mg of Propyl 3 times a day. In severe cases the dose may reach 300 mg every 8 hours. The maintenance dose ranges from 100 mg per day to 100 mg 3 times per day.
Children over 10 years old
- Administer 100 mg of Propyl 3 times a day. The maintenance dose is 25 mg, 3 times per day at 100 mg, 2 times per day.
Children from 6 to 10 years old
- Administer 50 to 150 mg per day in divided doses every 8 hours.
Neonates and children up to 6 years old
- Administer 5 to 7 mg per kg of body weight per day in divided doses every 8 hours.
