Tensaldin is a medication used to combat pain and cramping, based on dipyrone, caffeine and isometepteno mucate.
Indications
Analgesic and antispasmodic effect, being useful in combating various types of pains and cramps.
Contraindications
In cases of hypertension, allergy to dipyrone or to some other component of the formula, porphyria, congenital glucose-6-fosate dehydrogenase disease.
Adverse effects
Increased sensitivity to the mucous membranes of the mouth, eyes, skin, and nasal region, if this occurs, the medication should be discontinued. Thrombocytopenia, pancytopein, agranulocytosis, anemia, medullary aplasia, if used for a long period of time.
How to use
Adults and children over 50 kg: 1 to 2 tablets. Or 20 to 40 drops.
Children 25 to 35 kg: 10 to 20 drops,
From 20 to 25 kg: 8 to 15 drops,
From 10 to 15 kg: 4 to 5 drops,
From 8 to 9 kg: 3 to 4 drops,
With less than 5kg, 1 drop.
All doses may be repeated 3 to 4 times daily.
Attention
There may be a red coloration in the urine due to dipyrone. This is a normal condition.
