Microvlar is an oral contraceptive pill that regulates the menstrual cycle, prevents ovulation and, consequently, pregnancy. This daily pill is composed of two hormones in low concentrations and is produced by the Schering laboratory.

How to use Microvlar

The method of use of Microvlar consists of the daily intake of 1 tablet, in the order indicated in the carton and at the same time approximately, for 21 days. At the end of the carton, you should take a 7 day break, not taking any pills. During this interval bleeding should occur and on the eighth day a new card should be started, even if bleeding is still present.

Microvlar Side Effects

The most common side effects of Microvlar include nausea, abdominal pain, weight gain, headache, mood changes, pain and increased tenderness in the breasts, vomiting, diarrhea, fluid retention, increased libido, redness and itching of the skin .

Contraindications of Microvlar

Microvlar is contraindicated in cases of allergy to levonorgestrel and ethinyl estradiol, pregnancy or suspected pregnancy, breastfeeding, unexplained vaginal bleeding, diabetes with blood vessel damage, presence or history of thrombosis, pulmonary embolism, myocardial infarction, stroke, migraine with visual changes, difficulty speaking and numbness of a body region, severe liver disease, liver tumors or cancer.
