Guaco tea is a great home remedy to stop persistent cough because it has a potent bronchodilator and expectorant action. This medicinal plant can be associated with other medicinal plants such as Eucalyptus, being an excellent home remedy for cough relief.

Ingredients:
- 8 sheets of guaco;
- 1 tablespoon honey;
- 500 ml of boiling water.
Method of preparation:
To prepare this tea, simply add the guaco leaves to the boiling water, cover and let stand for about 15 minutes. After that time, you should strain the tea and add the honey spoon. It is recommended to drink 3 to 4 tablespoons of this tea per day, until improvements are observed.
2. Guacan tea with Eucalyptus
This tea combines the properties of guaco, with the expectorant and anti-inflammatory properties of eucalyptus. To prepare this tea you will need:
Ingredients:
- 2 tablespoons guaco;
- 2 tablespoons dried Eucalyptus leaves;
- 1 liter of boiling water.
Method of preparation:
To prepare this tea, simply add the guacamole and the dried leaves or essential oil to the boiling water, cover and let stand for about 15 minutes, straining before drinking. If necessary, this tea can be sweetened with honey, and it is recommended to drink 2 to 3 cups of tea a day as needed.
3. Guaco with milk

- 20g fresh guaco;
- 250 ml milk (from cow, rice, oats or almond);
- 2 tablespoons brown sugar;
Method of preparation:
Bring to the fire all the ingredients and stir until the aroma of the guaco is well evident and the whole sugar diluted. The more caramelized sugar is, the more it calms the cough. That means always stir, between 5 and 10 minutes, after the milk is very hot. Drink a warm cup before bed.
