- Store bottles face down;
- Fill the pots of plant pots with sand or earth;
- Throw away any object that can hold water;
- Keep well capped, buckets, barrels, pools and water boxes;
- Store tires out of rain and water;
- Clean the gutters;
- Do not let the rainwater stand on the slab;
- Place trash in tightly sealed plastic bags in a covered trash bin;

How to avoid getting bitten by the dengue mosquito
To avoid getting bitten by the dengue mosquito:
- Wear long pants and a long-sleeved blouse in times of epidemic. In summer, use light fabrics and light colors to withstand the heat.
- Spend repellent daily on exposed areas of the body such as face, ears, neck and hands, for example.
- Have protective screens on all windows and doors in the house;
- Ascend a candle of citronella in each room of the house, for it is insect repellent;
- Avoid dengue epidemic sites.
