Frademycin is an antibiotic used in infections, the main compound of which is lincomycin.
Indications
Infections caused by gram-positive bacteria, penumopathies, infections caused by staphylococci, osteomyelitis, pelvic infections, obstetrics, septicemia.
Contraindications
Bacterial infection, or caused by viruses, people with gastrointestinal, hepatic or renal disease, endocrine or metabolic, pregnancy, lactation, newborns.
Adverse effects
Dizziness, vomiting, abdominal pain, diarrhea, stomatitis, glossitis, increased transaminase, pruritus, erythema, fever, angiodema, leukopenia, eosinophilia, granulocytopenia.
How to use
Adults: 600mg injection from 8 / 8h or 12 / 12h.
Children: 10mg / kg IM of 12 / 12h or 24 / 24h, or 10 to 15mg / kg / day divided into 2 or 3 doses.
