Tranxilene is an oral medication with a tranquilizer action that has the active ingredient chlorazepate. This substance acts by depressing the central nervous system by facilitating the action of gamma aminobutyric acid GABA, which is a neurotransmitter that acts as a central nervous system inhibitor.

How to use
Doses may range from 5 to 50 mg per day, as a single dose or at bedtime.
