Nupercainal is a local anesthetic ointment used to relieve pain and itching caused by burns or insect bites. The active principle of Nupercainal is cinchocaine hydrochloride which acts in blocking nerve fibers that transmit pain information.

Nupercainal is indicated for the treatment of senile or vulgar itching, anal fissure, hemorrhoid pain, insect bite or sunburn.

How to use Nupercainal
The way Nupercainal is used is to apply the ointment to the affected area 1 to 3 times a day. The amount applied should not exceed 10 to 15 g per application (approximately 2/3 of the tube).
The maximum daily dose should be limited to 30 g (approximately one tube and one half) for adults and 7 g (approximately half tube) for children.

The side effects of Nupercainal may be allergic reactions with burning or itching.
