You can identify yourself in shock when you have:
- Skin: pale, cold, and sticky;
- Weak pulse, slow and shallow breathing, low blood pressure;
- Eyes dull, with a stare and sometimes with dilated pupils;
The clinical condition called shock state can be the consequence of a major trauma, a stroke, sunstroke, allergic reaction, severe infection or intoxication.
When someone goes into shock they may be conscious or unconscious, but in any case it is important to observe a professional's clinical and often medication to stabilize the patient.
