USP's diet is a low-calorie diet that lowers carbohydrate intake, such as rice, pasta, bread, or toast.
In the diet of USP to lose weight can eat egg, ham, steak, fruits, coffee and vegetables such as lettuce, cucumber, celery, pod, carrot and tomato. However, alcohol, sweets, fried foods and sugar are prohibited in this diet.
This diet has a specific menu of one week and it is not allowed to change the food, nor the meals that are on the menu. After completing this week, one can start again, but the diet should not be done for more than 2 weeks.
USP Diet Menu
The USP diet menu has all meals allowed in the diet that is done for 7 days.
Day 1
- Breakfast: black coffee without sugar.
- Lunch: 2 boiled eggs and herbs you like.
- Dinner: lettuce, cucumber and celery salad.
Day 2
- Breakfast: unsweetened black coffee with wafer cream-crakers.
- Lunch: 1 large steak with fruit salad you like.
- Dinner: ham.
Day 3
- Breakfast: unsweetened black coffee with cream-crakers biscuit.
- Lunch: 2 boiled eggs, green salad and 2 toast.
- Dinner: ham and salad.
Day 4
- Breakfast: unsweetened black coffee with biscuit.
- Lunch: 1 boiled egg, 1 carrot and cheese mines.
- Dinner: fruit salad and natural yoghurt.
Day 5
- Breakfast: raw carrot with lemon and black coffee without sugar.
- Lunch: grilled chicken.
- Dinner: 2 boiled eggs with carrots.
6th
- Breakfast: unsweetened black coffee with biscuit.
- Lunch: fish fillet with tomato.
- Dinner: 2 boiled eggs with carrots.
Day 7
- Breakfast: unsweetened black coffee with lemon.
- Lunch: grilled steak and fruits you like.
- Dinner: eat whatever you want, less sweet and alcoholic beverages.
Despite the name, experts from the University of São Paulo (USP) guarantee that they are not the creators of the diet. According to nutritionists, the USP diet is monotonous, unbalanced and does not lead to re-education of eating habits.
