Vimblastine is an antineoplastic medicine known commercially as Velban.
This injectable medicine is indicated for the treatment of several types of cancer, among them the breast, the kidneys and the testicles. Its action consists in inhibiting the cellular division impediendo the proliferation of cancerous cells by the organism.

Adults
- Administer 0.1 mg of Vimblastine per kg body weight, with successive weekly increases in the order of 0.05 mg per kg of body weight, until the white blood cell count drops to 3, 000 per cubic meter, or the size of the tumor.
