Reopro, an injectable drug that uses as an active ingredient abciximab is an antiplatelet agent.
Indications
Prevention of cardiac ischemia.
Side effects
Bleeding back pain; pressure fall; nausea; chest pain; vomiting; Headache; decreased heart rate; fever; pain at the puncture site; decreased platelets in the blood.
Contraindications
Pregnancy and breastfeeding; after major surgery or intracranial or intraspinal trauma; bleeding tendency; uncontrollable severe hypertension; Known hypersensitivity to abciximab, history of recent stroke; severe hepatic or renal impairment; hypertensive or diabetic retinopathy; active internal bleeding; thrombocytopenia; intracranial tumor; arteriovenous malformation; aneurysm and vasculitis.
How to use
Adults and adolescents : intravenous-0.25 mg / kg body weight plus 0.125 mcg / kg / min in serum.
Elderly: There are no studies in patients over 80 years of age.
