Vaccines are one of the most important ways to protect health, as they allow you to train your body to know how to deal with serious infections that can be life-threatening, such as polio, measles or pneumonia.

Keeping the vaccination record up to date helps to protect against as many diseases as possible for which a vaccine already exists.
Many of these diseases, which can lead to hospitalization and even put life at risk, such as hepatitis B, tuberculosis, polio, measles, pneumonia, among others. The protection afforded by vaccination can be maintained until adulthood.

When most people in a municipality are vaccinated against a certain disease, the number of cases tends to decrease, allowing the control, elimination and eradication of that disease.
